ZenCentiv Rebrands to Variabl, Introducing a New Architecture for Enterprise Incentive Compensation

Variabl ·

ZenCentiv has rebranded to Variabl, signaling a new era in incentive compensation management– backed by new funding and expanded platform capabilities built for complex, enterprise-scale sales commission environments.

LAS VEGAS, NV— April 6, 2026— ZenCentiv today announced its rebrand to Variabl, alongside new platform capabilities and additional funding to accelerate its mission of redefining incentive compensation management for enterprise revenue organizations.

The company’s new name reflects a fundamental shift in how incentive compensation systems are built. Revenue organizations now operate in environments defined by constant change– evolving plans, fragmented data, and increasing audit requirements– while most commission platforms remain built for environments that don’t change.

Variabl introduces a unified platform designed to manage that reality, bringing plan design, calculations, workflows, governance, and seller experience into a single structured system that adapts as conditions change.

“The industry has outgrown the systems it relies on,” said Tom Rogers, CEO of Variabl. “Compensation isn’t static. Plans change mid-cycle, data lives across systems, and adjustments are constant. Variabl was built for that reality– so teams can operate with precision without rebuilding their system every time the business evolves.”

As part of the launch, Variabl also announced the close of a seed funding round. Funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand go-to-market efforts, and support continued category expansion.

“We invested in Variabl because they are solving a structural problem in enterprise software,” said Jeff Saling, Partner at 1864 Fund and formerly CallidusCloud. “Incentive compensation has been defined by tradeoffs for decades. Variabl’s architecture removes those tradeoffs and creates a foundation for how modern revenue organizations should operate.”

The rebrand coincides with an expansion of the Variabl platform, introducing new capabilities designed to improve transparency, automation, and operational control across the incentive lifecycle. These include a modern seller dashboard, mobile access, native prior-period adjustments and balance management, AI-powered data management, bonus management, and automated workflows for commission statement distribution.

“Most platforms handle calculations. That’s not the hard part,” Rogers added. “The real challenge is everything around it– adjustments, audits, disputes, change management, and reporting. We built Variabl to handle the entire lifecycle inside one system, so teams aren’t stitching together processes outside the platform.”

The launch positions Variabl as a new architectural approach to incentive compensation management– one designed for continuous change rather than static plans. Legacy systems assume stability. Variabl assumes change.

“This isn’t just a rebrand or a feature release,” said Alex Kulik, President and COO at Variabl. “It’s a clear point of view on where the category is going. Systems that can’t adapt in real time will be replaced by systems that can.”

Variabl was built by operators with deep experience implementing and supporting legacy commission platforms. The company’s platform replaces manual processes, services-heavy models, and brittle logic with a structured, AI-native system engineered for enterprise complexity.

For finance and RevOps teams, this means fewer manual corrections, clearer governance, and systems that evolve without constant rebuilds. For sales teams, it means transparency into how and why they are paid. And for revenue leaders, it means incentive compensation can operate as infrastructure—not operational overhead.

Variabl is an enterprise incentive compensation management platform designed to manage complex commission programs at scale. The platform unifies plan design, calculations, workflows, governance, and seller experience into a single system, allowing organizations to manage change without sacrificing accuracy, control, or performance.
